Midwife at heart
Since 1998 I have been a midwife at heart. Actually, I had hoped that as a midwife I would learn and discover all the depths of womanhood, however, a small part of womanhood was unveiled.
Now I am a mother of 2 grown sons and a daughter in the beginning of her adolescence. Married and had to let go of my beloved again and got to meet new loves. What wonderful (not always fun) life lessons.
Yet I did not receive all the lessons about womanhood that I did long for, to approach and address the issues I faced in my work and private life. It remained as a veil over my work as a midwife, as a mother/educator, in my relationships, around sexuality and even in dancing the tango.
Training to become an IPT Practitioner
As it turns out with these things, the right message came my way via via. In this case it was IPT. After attending the IPT training I was able to step further in my development and unveil the issues of myself and other women a little more. The training has allowed my work as a midwife to deepen. It shines a different light on my motherhood and even in dancing it works through; by daring to show human vulnerability and enter into physical communication. Everything becomes a little different even while doing chores around the house and standing next to your partner.
