What does counseling with Dana cost?
We have contracts with all health insurers. Standard obstetric care for pregnancy, childbirth and maternity is automatically reimbursed for every pregnant person in the Netherlands under the basic health insurance.
Our obstetric care goes beyond standard. This is why we charge a fee for the extra process guidance (through our Basic, Gold and Gold & Healthy packages). This is the only way we can guarantee our personal, intensive guidance. These additional costs are usually not covered by supplementary insurance and are therefore for the client’s own account.

| Introductory consultation pregnancy 30 minutes: free of charge |
| Process guidance pregnancy, birth and puerperium ( on average 10-12 consultations, of which 1 home visit during pregnancy and 3 during puerperium + all services that belong to your choice package as shown in the overview above. For lump sum payment after final registration with our practice: €1850 (Basic) €2200 (Gold) or €2800 (Gold & Healthy) You will receive an invoice for this around 12 weeks of pregnancy. Late fees (after 29 weeks of pregnancy) If you register later (after 29 weeks of pregnancy), €250 will be deducted from the total package price of your chosen package from the overview above. You will receive an invoice for this once you are definitively registered with us. Mileage allowance for midwife for home visits, delivery and puerperium (the same for all packages): Based on one home visit during pregnancy, driving up for delivery and three home visits during maternity week, calculated by living distance from Dana Center in Zeist in Google maps: <5 km: no cost 5-10 km: €25 11-20 km: €75 21-30 km: €125 31-40 km: €175 41-50 km: €225 51-60 km: €275 For any additional kilometers driven other than the above mentioned trips, you will receive an invoice after the maternity week based on subsequent calculation. The rate charged for this is €0.48/km. These rates apply to clients who come under care at Dana after December 1, 2024. Clients receiving care before December 1 will be subject to the rates and conditions in effect at that time. Costs of maternity care are not included; you will purchase this through a maternity care organization. Payment in 3 installments is possible upon request. We charge €50 administration fee per partial invoice. |
Ultrasound
You can also come to Dana for medical and pre-echo services. Medical ultrasounds are covered by the basic health insurance and will be billed directly to your insurance company. The costs for the term ultrasound, the 13- and 20-week ultrasound, and ultrasounds on medical grounds are covered by this. A term ultrasound and a 13- and 20-week ultrasound are reimbursed only once per pregnancy.
For ultrasounds that are not covered by insurance you will receive an invoice from us, which you can pay on the spot by pin. The following rates apply:

*For self-request ultrasounds, a usb-stick with images and black and white photos on high glossy photo paper is included. For other ultrasounds, you can purchase a usb-stick from us. Due to digital security reasons, it is not possible to bring your own usb-stick.
I experienced it as a very special, wonderful journey to the birth of our baby. The people who work there really stand with heart and soul for what they do. The warmth, love, the softness, everything can be there. I deliberately chose Dana Center and it was more than worth the money…and that cannot be expressed in money.
